Shuitou Village is located in the mountains north of Guiyang City and it’s home to the Bouyei people. As an ethnic group, they’re the 11th largest of the 56 ethnicities of China. And one of the things they are well known for, is liquor making. Like most of China, such is the cultural significance of liquor for the Bouyei, that it’s considered a delicacy during festivals and even essential when entertaining guests.
