Disaster and hope are always intertwined. For the people at the bottom, their lives are a constant enactment of disaster, yet they are also, invisibly, composing verses of resistance against it. They do not seek much recognition from the outside world, nor do they often possess the means to fight against the injustices of this world. Yet, they are the heart of this world, the very axis upon which the earth turns, with every step they take anchoring its motion.
